I have had this happen to me multiple times now. I go to my car and type the persons name, get information back, then when I exit the computer my game chases a second after.

Legal copy of the game? Running the game as administrator? Latest patch? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using (Windows XP is NOT supported)? Make sure that LCPDFR 0.95 is removed (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19).

Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.

 

I use a legal copy, I run it as admin, and it is the latest. I installed all of the programs you mentioned and I completely erased everything to do with LCPDFR 0.95. Unfortunately, the problem still persists. The scripts I use are:

Wow, that's a lot of mods. Does the issue still persist without those mods? 

It's not a LCPDFR issue. From what the internal logs reveal, GTA crashes when adding a reference to a full pool. Try lowering your settings or removing any vehicle or ped mods. Also a hardware upgrade might help.
